FLAGS DECRIBED:

 

GREEN = GO: RACE IS STARTED

 

RED = STOP ALL ACTION: Come to a complete stop.Do not stop immediately in order for the cars behind you to come to a safe stop.First car to receive a red flag should proceed to a position ,if possible,where the driver can have a clear view of the flag stand. When directed,proceed to start/finish line for re-alignment of positions.

 

 

RED & YELLOW TOGETHER = Hot Laps are completed,return to the pits.

 

 

 

YELLOW = CAUTION: Decelerate and form a single line,no passing.Continue in single line until cars are lined up as to racing position at last completed green flag lap.(lap counters decision)

 

 

BLUE WITH YELLOW STRIPE = Car is to hold it's position, as it is about to be lapped by a faster car.

 

 

CROSSED FLAGS = The Event is halfway completed.

 

 

BLACK = RETURN TO PITS IMMEDIATELY: When receiving the black flag, pull out of traffic flow and slow down. Pull into pits as soon as possible.Pit boss will give reason for black flag if requested.

 

BLACK WITH YELLOW DOT = CAR HAS MECHANICAL TROUBLE which flag person has deemed unsafe.Report to pits immediately to get repairs.Car may re-enter race safely after repairs are made and passed by Officials in the pit.

 

WHITE = ONE LAP REMAINING: Last lap to go in the race.

 

 

CHECKERED FLAG = END OF EVENT: Race is over,no extra laps except winning car proceeds to start/finish line to accept award.In case of a close finish by two or more cars,flag person and timing stand will decide finishing positions.
